Welcome to League City Pets Alive

League City Pets Alive (aka Friends of League City Animal Shelter) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit. Our purpose is stop the senseless killing of companion animals and maintain the "NO KILL" status of League City.

We acquire donations or raise funds for the purchase of services and supplies not covered by the City budget.  Funds are used for veterinary care, medical supplies, food, related animal supplies, shelter supplies, and volunteer expenses.

If you already have a Kroger Plus Shopper's Card, it's easy to register in the Community Rewards program.

Please Note: We are NOT the Animal Shelter.

If you live or work in League City and found an animal in League City. Please call police dispatch line at 281-332-2566. They will dispatch an Animal Protection Officer to your location. DO NOT bring the animal to the shelter. You will be asked to return to the place you found the animal and wait for the APO. On-call service is available 7 days a week. After hours on-call is emergency for injured or orphaned neonatal animals only.
